The Government expects the direct selling industry to record RM10bil in sales by 2015, as quoted by Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. He said the industry had big potential to grow further.
The industry has moved in line with globalisation when many well-known foreign companies decided to set up shop here and locals abroad.
Their presence has directly and indirectly helped raise the income of the rakyat and the nation, he said at the 18th anniversary celebrations of Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd yesterday. - Bernama
